About Healing Sense Therapeutic Massage
Noori Gill (She/They) - Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
I completed my 2200 hour diploma at MH Vicars school of Remedial Massage in Edmonton / ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐊᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ (Amiskwacîwâskahikan) / Omahkoyis on the unceded lands known as Treaty Six Territory on June 19, 2013. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training virtually in the summer of 2020 with My Vinyasa Practice.
I stay up to date on covid, influenza and other regular vaccinations. (Proof of vaccination not required to book in but I'm always open about my status.) As I volunteer at large events and perform without masks as an actor/improviser, I do occasionally carry a higher risk of transmitting respiratory viruses - this is why I near N95s at work and have an air purifier in the room! Please let me know if you are immunocompromised and require the air purifier on high or for me to complete a rapid test in the morning of your appointment. I want you to be as safe and comfortable as possible.
BIPOC and LGBTQ+ friendly! All vibes welcome.
I also hold a B.A. in Drama and Classical Studies (2011) and B.Sc. Specialization in Biochemistry (2017) from the University of Alberta. My massage skills include: Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Manual Myofascial and Adhesion Treatment, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Reiki, and Clinical Sports Massage. I have treated numerous clients suffering from Whiplash from a Motor Vehicle Accident, Chronic Back or Neck Pain, Headaches, TMJD, Postural Dysfunctions, Overuse Conditions, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Sciatica, Stress/Anxiety, Scar Tissue Restrictions, Muscle Spasms/Cramps, and more. I also enjoy yoga, meditation, and healthy nutrition, and am a Level III Reiki Practitioner. I am registered with the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapist Association (CMMOTA) and Canadian Yoga Alliance (CYA).
